Lobmeyer Seed Farms is owned and operated by Marion, Chris, and Matthew Lobmeyer. We have been growing Certified Seed Wheat since 1979, and conditioning our own seed since 1983.

Marion Lobmeyer graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Agronomy in 1957. After work with the Soil Conservation Service, he took over his father's farming operation in 1964. Marion has been married to Joan since 1956 and they have nine children and eighteen grandchildren.

Chris Lobmeyer graduated from KSU in 1999 with a degree in Animal Science. He joined Lobmeyer Seed Farms in 2007 with the purchase of Boots Seed Service. He has been married to Shannon since 2001 and they have three boys.

The youngest of the Lobmeyer children, Matthew graduated from KSU in 2000 and immediately returned to the farm. He has been married to Betsy since 1999 and they have one daughter. For more information than you would ever need or want to know about Matthew, read his weblog.
